   As a resident of the Okanagan Valley, Marianne drew inspiration this winter from the dark blues and blacks of the frozen lake.  As the temperature warmed, interesting-shaped cracks appeared in the ice. She has captured this in richly layered works of art that show light and shadow in their depths.
