Linden Singers showcases the works of female composers such as Clara Schuman's Abendfeier in Venedig, Rosaphanye Powell's Christus Natus Est, Doreen Rao's Like a Child and many more. The music is sometimes sublime, and others more jazzy but it's always beautiful. Afterwards, sing Christmas Carols with us at our reception. We'd love to have you join us! Tickets $25 available at the door and on our website. https://www.lindensingers.ca/fall-concert-2023

Inspired by the beauty of the human voice and the magic of polyphony, our Music Director has created a soundscape journey for our March concert. Whimsically titled, audience members will be immersed in music composed by Palestrina, Pärt, Tavener and Tallis - choral icons from Italy, Estonia and England. The circular, domed venue is the ideal space to enjoy the interplay of four, six and even eight melodic lines as the music unfolds. Admission is $25.00 for those aged 25 and up. Anyone under 25 can enjoy the concert free of charge. Tickets may be purchased online at https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/p-squared-t-squared-tickets-557510869017, from choir members, or at the door on the afternoon of the concert. Linden Singers of Victoria is a vibrant, mixed-voice, multi-generational, and auditioned choir. With a 45 years' history, the choir is well-established in the Victoria choral scene and dedicated to the performance and enjoyment of choral music. The Linden Singers repertoire is diverse and includes sacred and secular works from all eras, reflecting the wide interests and ability of its singers. The choir is proud to have commissioned works by well-known Canadian composers, including David Archer, Georgina Craig, Christine Donkin, Jeff Enns, and Imant Raminsh.
