  1. It seems inevitable that places of beauty will all fall prey to the growing plague of the homeless who cannot be swept under a rug will find a place of refuge on any green spot they are offered, and since moving into Becon Hill I have stayed away less I see some of the daffodils being crushed by tents or garbage flying free, as it is just as heartbreaking as having the threat of blossoms not coming out each year ...Victoria has been ruined by this council who also pat themselves on the back by wanting to turn the city into a concrete Vancouver with high rises and car lots...sadly, there is no reversing the damage done to what used to be the jewel of the west coast.
