A graduate of Beijing Normal University, William Liao approaches painting with a deep belief in artistic expression across all genres. His subjects range from cityscapes and landscapes to florals, portraits, and abstract compositions, with each painting reflecting his evolving emotions and understanding of life. William views painting as a reflection of his life journey, intertwined with music, calligraphy, literature and film. Past accolades include winning Art Battle Vancouver, the Silver Medal at the Signature Medal Show at FederationGallery, and First Place in the Acrylics in Action show.
