The jewellery collections from Chi's Creations are inspired by the natural beauty of Vancouver's North Shore, translating coastal elements into pieces that feel both distinctive and effortlessly wearable. Each design offers a sense of meaning and individuality within everyday style.
Designer Chi Cheng Lee is a graduate of New York's Parsons School of Design. Influenced early on by her father, a painter of Chinese watercolours on silk, she went on to spend more than 18 years with the Fifth Avenue luxury jewellery house Harry Winston.   With a rich cross-cultural background shaped by living in 18 residences worldwide, Chi now works from her Studio-in-the-Woods in West Vancouver, where her global perspective continues to inform her designs.   Image: Sterling Silver Large 'Blossom' Ring with Sapphire, 14kt. Three Victoria artists present Writ Large - Contemporary Works on Paper

Three Victoria artists draw on their pasts as professional writers and editors to exhibit a collection of large-format works inspired by the emotional and intellectual energy of written language.
Georgina Montgomery, Louise Oborne, and MaryLou Wakefield use words and text as part of their visual language to amplify a compelling idea, question, or life experience personally meaningful to them.
In this series, the artists demonstrate their individual stylistic approaches to interpreting 'Writ Large' and invite viewers to find their own meaning and interpretation in the works.
Writ Large will be on at arc.hive artist run centre October 4 - 19 and open for viewing Saturdays and Sundays from 12 - 4 pm.
An opening reception with the artists in attendance will be on Friday, October 3, from 7 - 9 pm.
