Hardship and hope - captured in song and story. Equal parts despairing and heartwarming, these authentic stories of 1930s Canadians —“from farmyards to highways, from kitchens to boxcars…”—draw you into a rich tapestry of personal narratives from the Great Depression, underscored by evocative folk music. These stories will warm your heart and fill you with a deep sense of appreciation for the indomitable human spirit. “A complex collage of storytelling and music” – CBC Ten Lost Years by Jack Winter and Cedric Smith Directed by Glynis Leyshon Thursday, October 17 2024| 7:30PM
