Hopefully people will share their sightings of orca. I don't know if this was a transient or a Southern Resident. It was in a group of 5 to 7 orcas, who came by Harling Point and Harpoon Rock around sunset. It was a beautiful moment! This was in August 2017.
Thanks for doing this. It could be fun. I took this photograph in January 2020 at the little beach below King George Terrace. They were swimming, in the surf and sunshine, really close to the pebbly beach. There were more birds, six or seven, but I couldn't fit them all in one shot.
