We are thrilled to welcome award-winning sculptor Cathryn Jenkins to The AvenueGallery, celebrated for her timeless sculptures of the natural world. Influenced early on by her mother, prominent sculptor Fran Jenkins, Cathryn developed a deep appreciation for the dialogue between artist and medium, gaining a keen sense of line, form and the joy of sculpture. Working in bronze, stone and steel, Cathryn creates stylized representations of Canadian wildlife that are powerful and timeless. Each piece invites touch, its tactile appeal becoming a part of the living area for which it inhabits.
