AGGV
Upcoming Events

Come to the Gallery for a fun-filled and creative Sunday afternoon. Explore connections to the land around us through the works of contemporary artists in the exhibitions A View From Here: Reimagining the AGGV Collections, Lekwungen: A Place to Smoke Herring, and Meryl McMaster: Bloodline.

Wander through the Asian garden to sketch the Garry oak trees, create a butterfly pin to wear, and explore the fascinating shapes and symmetry found in nature to make a one-of-a-kind graphite rubbings as we kick off this school year’s first Family Sunday.

Family Sundays are included with admission.

Admission is always free for the following groups:

  • Visitors age 25 and under
  • AGGV Members and See Art Pass holders
  • Indigenous peoples
  • Support workers

Family Sunday happens every third (and sometimes fourth) Sunday of the month from October – June, and is an afternoon of exploring hands-on art-making and ideas for all ages. This recurring program often features special guests like storytellers, artists, performers or musicians.
