    Alison Bigg shares her journey into hearing loss using wit, wisdom and a collection of devices called “auricals” (artist’s word). A series of prints called #lostfoundsound showcase her technical excellence and 3D printing.Bigg believes that our society has a type of communal deafness cause by information overload. With Auricals, she invites us to navigate the important difference between hearing and listening.

    Walking Thru My Fires showcases the work of one of the most prolific living Indigenous artists on the West Coast. This deeply personal exhibition explores Indian Residential School legacies, urban Indigeneity, reconciliation, and the healing power of art through Francis Dick’s prints, paintings, carvings, and music. It is an autobiography written in art. 

    Dates: April 22 – September 9

    On her daily walks, Suzanne collects visual information about the ordinary landscapes of her everyday journeys. These “unremarkable” urban landscapes often include objects like power boxes, lamp posts and bike racks. “I am interested in how these constructed objects interact with the natural,” she says. “It appears to be an uneasy relationship.”
