Join us for an afternoon of art discussion with David Ellingsen, a local Victoria artist whose work focuses on environmental themes such as climate, biodiversity loss, and deforestation. During the talk, Ellingsen will discuss some of the pieces featured in the gallery’s current exhibition, Promise to Place; Building Relationship with the Land. Works currently on display include pieces from several of Ellingsen’s projects such as Silent Sea, Unknown Entities, and The Last Stand, all of which provide unique commentary on environmentalism and the relationship between humans and the natural world.
