    You are invited to a cosy evening of tea, stories, and music with Douglas Hensley. Enjoy listening to beautiful creations of the past and the present on gittern, six and ten-course renaissance lute, and oud. This evening will also feature works by Victoria composers Darren Buhr, Anthony Genge, and Douglas Hensley. Tea provided! When: Friday, March 3rd, 8pm-9:15pm, followed by a small social with the artist Where: 530 Fort St, Second Floor Admission: $15 cash, payment at the door.     World famous guitarist, percussionist, and composer Celso Machado will give a two hour group workshop on Brazilian rhythms and harmonies, improvising, and ensemble playing. For ages 12 and up, including adults. Slightly younger is ok. Cost per person for 2 hours is $30. Registration deadline is March 20th – all participants must register in order to reserve a spot.     For kids ages 5-10 (a little older or younger is ok). You don't need to know how to play anything to participate! World famous guitarist and percussionist Celso Machado will give a two hour group workshop on making instruments, learning to make sound with anything, and improvising together as a group.
