Anne Kelly is a master at the art of weaving maille. The word 'maille' is derived from the French word for net or mesh and is a material made of interwoven rings or links. Fascinated with ancient techniques of working with metal and gemstones, Anne creates beautiful, unique, wearable art. Many of her pieces involve an eclectic combination of contemporary and ancient metal fabrication techniques, but maille has remained a favourite element of her designs.
