Colour Theory January 11–25 Madrona Gallery This exhibition follows the evolution of colour from the early 20th century to today. From traditional oils used in works from the likes of A.Y. Jackson, to the invention of acrylic paints in the 1950s and 60s, to the vibrant pigments used today, Colour Theory traces changes in technique and materials through the years. Featured artists include: Meghan Hildebrand, April Ponsford, Halin de Repentigny, Hashim Hannoon, Morley Myers, Sean Yelland, Nicotye Samayualie, William Perehudoff, Jack Shadbolt.
